MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX
Microcrystalline wax - White, Yellow and Brown colour in slab form Rubber, Cosmatics, Pharma, Printing and Ink Industries etc.
Composition :- Blend of iso and normal paraffin wax with medium and broad molecular weight distribution.
Function :- The wax is used to protect rubber articles from ozone and weathering influence under static and dynamic condition.
Uses :- It is used in Tier, Conveyor Belting and other rubber articles.
Doses :- 1 – 4 phr as per design of the compound depends of service condition.
Characteristic
Appearance :- White to yellowish slab/ flake
Congealing point :- (62 – 68)°c
Specific gravity :- 0.92
Nature :- Highly dispersible in rubber compound.
Storage :- 2 years from the month of manufacturing it stored at temperature up to 35°c.At higher temperature cakingmay occur but has no effect on the performance.
