Compound wax ( Eqivilant of Hydrocarbon wax for PVC pipe manufacturer)

Product Composition: The main components of compound matrix are aliphatic acids (wax acids) and higher alcohol esters.

Function:- The most important raw material used in the manufacture of Bulk Emulsion Explosive to maintain high viscosity to facilitate the entrapment  of air in the explosive for a longer time and thus keeps The Bulk Emulsion in its proper Explosive form for a longer time. The Shelf life of Bulk Emulsion gets improved by use of this wax. 

Uses :- It is used in Explosive Industries. 

Doses :- Preferable in the range of (0.2 to 0.3)%. 

Characteristics

Appearance:-  Light Brownish Colour.

Density(g/cc):- 0.89(approx.)  

Nature :- It has excellent capacity for blending of fuel.

Shelf-life :- One year from the date of manufacturing.

N.B. :-  Wax itself is not explosives material
